Welcome to our part of Greenland. Since 1996 we've guided musk ox hunts out of Kangerlussuaq, with rifle or bow. Now we also hunt king eider on the coast at Sisimiut.
The hunts

Late March – mid AprilKing eiderThe king eider drake in full breeding plumage, off the coast at Sisimiut. Four days out from town at the end of winter. The scenery was unbelievable —mountains, valleys, glacial rivers, and huge open landscapes.
A truly outstanding father‑and‑son experience.
About us
We're still here when the hunters go home, so every season has to be one we can stand behind.
Your guides grew up on this tundra, and you see it the way we live it.
We read the herds and the terrain every day, and we tell you straight what is out there.
We take what we need, not everything we see, so the animals are still here for the next generation.

The camp
Perserajuut is our hunting area, and camp is two cabins we built there against a mountain, looking out over our lake. The water comes straight from the ice cap, clean enough to drink as it is. After the day on the tundra, this is where you come back to.

“Seeing the Northern Lights was the perfect way to cap off incredible days in the field.”
Our hunting trip in Greenland was an incredible experience from start to finish. The terrain was epic, and Michael was an outstanding host who made the entire trip enjoyable. The quality and quantity of game was impressive, and we really enjoyed the variety of hunting styles. We did plenty of spot-and-stalk hunting and hiking, glassed from the boat, and hunted by ATV, which allowed us to cover a huge amount of ground and experience hunting Greenland in different ways. The scenery was unforgettable, and seeing the Northern Lights was the perfect way to cap off incredible days in the field.

“This hard-working family business will give you an unforgettable memory.”
My brother and I booked Inuit Outfitter for our musk ox, with the option to get a caribou trip in September of 2025. It was an incredible experience. Michael did an amazing job gauging client's physical abilities and optimizing our opportunity to be successful. He had contingencies when one of our weapons was damaged. His endurance and willingness to do what it took to find our caribou was superb. Julie was instrumental in being a resource to any concerns and helping us pivot for options to get to the main camp from the international airport. A few considerations from our experience would be to not cut it close on travel days on the front and back end. We were delayed multiple days on our way there due to weather on the coast and were only able to pivot by chartering a boat that Julie was able to get us in contact with. This was an incredible experience in and of itself, that I would consider chartering on purpose to view the majestic fjords. With weather being tricky I would also consider travel insurance in case you get hung up in any way. Also be sure to pack plenty of snacks each day, as you never know when you'll get on the tracks and must be out through multiple mealtimes. This hard-working family business will give you an unforgettable memory.

“Each day offered a new adventure.”
This hunt far exceeded all of my expectations. Each day offered a new adventure, from boating on glacial rivers to stalking muskox near the ice sheet and pursuing caribou in the mountains. The expertise and hospitality of Inuit Outfitter are unmatched and second to none. An experience I will never forget.

“A hunt of a lifetime.”
Our hunt with Inuit Outfitter was spectacular! Not only was the game — musk ox and caribou — high quality, Michael, Julie, and the entire Inuit Outfitter Team were fantastic. The entire Team provided assistance during the hunt, explained about the animals and their behaviors, and were genuinely concerned about our entire hunt experience. We had delicious Greenlandic food, comfortable accommodations, and we developed a deep appreciation for the local culture and people of Greenland. Hunting with Inuit Outfitter was a hunt of a lifetime and a truly amazing experience!

“It never felt like we were just customers on a hunting trip.”
The scenery was unbelievable. Being out in the Greenland wilderness, surrounded by mountains, valleys, glacial rivers, and huge open landscapes, was an experience in itself. Our guides worked their tails off. You could tell they genuinely cared about the experience we were having and weren't just there to get us through the trip. After spending a long day hunting, it was great to come back to camp, sit down to a hot meal, and talk about the day's adventures. It never felt like we were just customers on a hunting trip. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and easy to be around. It had a real family atmosphere, and by the end of the trip it felt like we had made some genuine friendships. I cannot think of one thing to improve on, they were terrific!

“We came to Greenland in pursuit of four animals and returned home with all four.”
My son and I traveled from Michigan to Kangerlussuaq, Greenland, to hunt with Inuit Outfitter. My son harvested his muskox on the first day in the mountains during a sudden snowstorm, while I took mine the following day along the lakeshore under warm, sunny skies. Early that morning, we spotted a mature bull more than a mile away. After a careful stalk, my son was able to take a beautiful caribou. As the sun began to set, I was fortunate enough to harvest my caribou as well. We came to Greenland in pursuit of four animals and returned home with all four, along with memories that will last a lifetime. Their professionalism, hospitality, local knowledge, and commitment to their clients made this a truly outstanding father-and-son experience.

Nick hunted with us in 2024 and filmed all of it: the ride across the ice, coffee at our kitchen table, the stalk.
