The king eider drake, hunted from the coast at Sisimiut. Four days on the water in the last weeks of winter.

For many waterfowl hunters the king eider is the bird of a lifetime. We hunt them off Sisimiut in late winter, and head out from town each morning.
Sisimiut is Greenland’s second-largest town, on the coast north of the Arctic Circle, and it’s home for us.
You stay at a hotel in Sisimiut. We take care of breakfast, and of lunch on the hunting days.
Four full days in a small group. We head out from town each day, and the weather and conditions decide how we hunt.
Add-on
Seal has fed Sisimiut for as long as there has been a town here. If you’d like to try it, we can add a seal hunt to your trip.
